Sweathearts February 2013!

I went to Sweathearts with Harrison Lyon!! And it was so much fun!! I loved it!
On the way there, we had a little adventure...yeah i almost crashed the car into the snow. oh man.

But thank goodness it didnt!! :)
We played in the snow of our day date, and then went to Amy's house and watched PRIDE AND PREJUDICE the LDS VERION. Aww yeah! ;)
And the Dance was such a blast! I had fun Interpretive dancing with Harrison!
What a fun date. Thanks so much Harrison for coming with me!!

Utah Winter 2013

OH MAN. This has been the craziest, coldest winter i think Ive ever had! We had 3 "Should have been snow days" But sadly, for some reason box elder thought we should still have snow. haha oh dear. One night it was snowing so hard, that our car got stuck over at Amy and Daniel's house. It was very snowy!

Temple Celebration!

Today was one of the best, and longest days of my life!  Everyone Participating in the celebration had to be at the High school at 6 AM and we stayed there practicing all day until the 2 performances in the evening. I think the last performance was my favorite, Elder Perry and Elder Nelson came to our little town of Brigham!!! I thought that was the neatest thing! I could tell all the Youth there was having a great time! My favorite part, well one of them, was when everyone turned around and faced the temple and we all sang "I love to see the temple." That was awesome. That was the part where i could feel the spirit the strongest. We actually have a temple in Brigham! I can go there anytime to perform the lords work.I feel very honored to be apart of such a neat thing! It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and  I will remember it always:)

Double Date!!

Double Date!!

So My friend Jay, His Birthday was a few days ago, so his sister Jenica came up with an idea for his first date, for me to hide in a big cardboard box and then they would say a package came for him, and i would jump out of the box, and he would be surprised, and TA DA! Then we would go on our date! ............
But um, it didnt exactly happen that way...it was actually a fail trying to be sneaky. haha Okay, heres what happend. :
So I got to their house, Jay was next door, and while we were trying to figure out how to get me in the box, when jay walked in. ha ha yeah....you can probably imagine the awkwardness. So he came in, and said Oh hi Emily! then he left again, Jenica's date showed up. Joe Burgan! And they helped me get inside the box, and put it on the porch. Then , they said hey jay I think a package came for you! He probably didn't suspect a thing....hah! Just kidding. :) But yeah, he opened the box, i jumped out, and he was very surprised!! ( at least he acted like he was;) hhaha) It was great!

It was a blast!! We rode bikes to the mountain from their house, and then hiked up to these rocks on the mountain, and the view was amazing!! We had tons of fun just messing around taken pictures and stuff! Then we came back down and rode our bikes around and that was really so much fun! Then we went to Joe's house and watched "How to train your Dragon" I hope it was a good first date for Jay! :)

How do they build TITANIC?

Titanic was such an amazing opportunity. My appreciation for the the people who died on the Titanic grew so much during the past few months. Its incredible. I met so many fantastic people that i don't think i would have if it weren't for this play. The first time we Blocked The lifeboat scene, and Kaitlyn screamed. that was the first time that i cried during all of our practices. all our performances went really well I thought! Everyone was just so amazing! I loved the Stewardess and Stewards i was with! There was Jenica, Ashley, Haylee, McKena, Katie, Callie, Kevin, Brooks, and Taylor! They are all so much fun:) All the songs were so meaningful, I think my favorite part was the Life Boat scene. That was just so Intense and it actually felt like i was there. Me, Haylee, And McKena were the 3 stewardess who didn't survive. We were helping the little kids on the boat get to the lifeboats, and by the time we went to get on, there was no more room, so we died right there on the ship. I have never performed anything like that before, it was a really neat experience. I cried almost every night that we performed. I'm so thankful for all the friendships that i made during it, and for the memories that were created. "We'll meet tomorrow!"

HomeComing!!

This was my first High School Dance, And let me just say....it was fantastic!!! It was most deffinately my favorite date so far. I went with Peter Compton :) For the Day date, we went up to Ogden and rode bikes on this little trail, with a cute little river, and everything! But I didn't have a bike...so peter and I had to  share a bike! haha! Luckily the hills weren't too big :/  But anyway, we played in the river, skipping rocks and stuff. and we had a picnic! Then the keys got locked in the car! Whoops! But luckily, there was a rescue key underneath the car! How sneaky. So we had a lot of fun playing in the water, and riding our bikes, and then it was time for the dance!......

I got ready, and Peter came and picked me up. Dad wasnt here so Daniel and Nathan were the ones here to "intimidate" him. haha like that could happen:) juuuuuust kidding. They were awesome! The dance was the BEST!! Peter was such a gentlemen! I couldn't have asked for a better date. The pictures were awesome. Someone couldnt take our pictures, so peter set them up on the stand and pushed the timer button and ran and jumped into the picture. haha! it was great!
The entire dance was fantastic. man, he is a great dance partner! we danced fast during the slow songs, and danced slow for the fast ones. And i have to say....i loved our group! Me and Andrew Cartner were the only Juniors in it, and it was awesome!! after the dance, we went over to Isaiah's house to watch tv or something,  and we all got there before him, so stockton turned on his music really loud, and we all went and danced on the sidewalk! haha. So fantastic!! What a perfect first Dance.

Amy's Wedding

I'm SO incredibly happy For Amy!! what a fantastic day! To see my big sister, and best friend get married!! Well...not actually see her get married, but to be there for the luncheon, and reception! She looked absolutely beautiful! And i got too see her come out of the temple with Daniel, and a huge smile on both their faces! :) I hope their day was everything they dreamed about! Me, Nathan, Celeste, and Peter got to be the "Professional" cake servers. hah not really. we were pretty awful actually:) Unless you like piles of crumbs and globs of frosting....haha! but any way. It was a pretty fantastic day. For me any way. I hope they have fun on their Honey Moon!!! :) They are Awesome!
