LIfe is too short to not fill it with good things

So Nathan is such a sweet brother, and knows how much I love musicals, and thats pretty much all i listen too..haha so he made this CD full of orchestra musical medleys like "My Fair Lady" , Sound of Music, Seven Brides, Ect. so I can listen to it on the way to Idaho! Im listend to them right now, and im just so incredibly thankful that i was raised with the things I was! I cant believe some people dont know what these are, or if they do, dont like them! That just blows my mind! I know everyone has different interests..but im just grateful i have these kinds of uplifing, wholesome things in my life:) I dont know, just everything- well most everything about the world today is really sad, and scary. I wish entertainment could be the same as it was when my parents and grandpartents were growing up. I watch alot of old movies, and its so nice because you dont have to worry about muting, or fast forwarding any parts! Its seemed like movies took talent to be good, not vulgar language and scences. thats how it should be:) Sometimes I wish people could see how much work goes into one movie or musical, all the rehursals, talent that goes into just writing the song! all the dance steps, notes to sing, vocal lessons, and everything! And not just media, but it seems like everything is going downhill...my friend has a sister who is in ACYI, and she told me people dont like to talk to her because she doesnt have a Phone, instagram, or facebook. how sad is that?? They're in 6 th grade!! and as sad as it is, its getting harder for people to talk and spend time with others face to face. ...it kind of really breaks my heart. But its making me realize how I want to raise my kids. They're going to watch disney, I love lucy, all the old movies, musicals, they arent going to play on phones, theyll play with regular toys, and other kids. hah I dont really want my kids to grow up how the world is now...I know I cant keep them from the world, but when theyre little i can raise them with the good stuff:) So yeah! Just wanted to write this little rant, and also be so thankful for how i was raised, and for disney and musicals!

On August 5th at 1: 04 AM beautiful Katie Em was born! Later that morning i went to the hospital to see my neice for the very first time! I was so excited i couldnt even wait for 9:00 to come so i could see her! haha. but it came, I walked in the hospital room, and amy uncovered her and handed her to me, and I honestly was about to tear up a bit:) She was the most beautiful, precious thing ive ever seen in my life! and so tiny! I was in pure heaven! Amy and Daniel are going to be such cute parents!! Congrats you two! You sure did great! And it feels amazing to hold that little girl in my arms and know shes my little niece! Welcome to the family little one! :D

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Being apart of this play has been such a fantastic expirience! This cast has gone through so much together over the past few months, but we are SO close. Through all the injuries, laughs, crazy unexpected things happening, loosing karlie:( - Karlie (Millie) Broke her foot during a practice one day ONE WEEK before we opened...This was so hard! and scary because we opened in one week! But Mr. pace found someone to play the part, and it just happened to be Haley Pace! ( Timoon when I was in Once on this Island there 12 years ago!) So that was fun to see her again! she picked up super super fast,and we were able to open 2 weeks later. But I honestly love this cast so much! we all get along so incredibly well, and have had countless "brides Nights" and every single one of them has been a blast! this whole expirience has been a good learning one for me! It was my first speaking role pretty much, so it was my first time wearing a mic! I also had my first stage kiss during this play. Oh boy. haha Im just so grateful for everything! It was really sad about karlie, but we all pulled through and she recovered:) I really am going to miss everyone!

Box Elder GRADUATE!

So, its 4:30 Am. right now, and I just got back from the All Night Senior Party! I really had a good time! I dont think it's hit me yet that i graduated!! it really is such a weird feeling..but in a good way too! Because im really looking forward to going up to Rexburg and have the many adventures there! At graduation I sang the national anthem for my very last time a sa madrigal..crazy right?? And I also got to sing "Omniiosole" with all my senior choir friends! such fun! I really am going to miss choir so so much! It seriously made my high school years absolutely amazing!! I consider myself extremely lucky to have such an amazing director and teacher. and to also have the amazing times and memories that ive had with these buddies! I honestly cant believe graduation already came and left! Just like that! Wasnt I just a wee squashy being in Joseph with all my junior and senior friends who I thought was "so old" and now here I am, exactly where they were, except I dont feel any older, this is so weird:) Well, all I have to say now is, Box Elder, Im so glad I was able to go to High school here with the amazing people and memories that came with it! you sure were good to me! :)
CLASS OF 2014!!

Bitter Sweet

Tonight was definitely a bittersweet night for all the seniors in choir this year! It was my last concert singing with concert choir, in our fantastic choir robes! its really weird to think about, actually! I sure am going to miss this! I cant even begin to describe the love I have for this choir, and my director!! I will keep these memories in my heart, and life forever! I definitely lucked out when it came to being us such a fun, amazing high school choir with an Incredible teacher! Who pushes us to where we can be, and works us so that we learn so much about singing! and not only that, but about life! And friendships! Tonight when we sang "omniosole," and especially when the girls sat and listened to all the guys sing "Amazing Grace" my emotions totally got the better of me, I guess I realized this is my last time singing with concert choir...im going to miss it so much! I love you guys!
On the same note...The final Madrigal Concert was a week later than this, but I will just combine it with this post:)
Today is the very last day we wear our Madrigal dresses, its the very last time for me siging in the Box Elder Auditorium ..Its the final Mad Concert. I cant believe its over! This year has been one of the funnest ive had! I absolutely love Madrigals! And all the fun we had! I love all you guys, and not to mention, I have thee cutest Matchup;) Love ya Tanner! And I love all you guys! I just am going to miss you all so so much!! But

 its been a good run:)

Dreams come true:) April 10th 2014

So one of my biggest dreams came true today! ( as you probably guessed from the title) :)
Well, this morning I just had a feeling to check the Seven Brides for Seven Brothers website, to see the cast list, and well, as I was scrolling down reading everyones names, I saw "Emily Bradford" next to Alice! Im Alice!!! I'm one of the 7 brides!! What?!? this is unreal!! So naturally, being my overly excited person that i am, I ran down to Amys room as fast as I could to tell her. She thought someone died by the way i raced down the stairs. haha! But she was excited, and I ran to tell nathan. I am such a inconsiderate person considering it was only 5 in the morning...my siblings are such great supporters:) Well, as I was jumping up and down alot, I hurt my back....like I said, I get excited over things super easy:) Haha well it hurt the rest of the day...hopefully it gets better! That'd be a funny story to tell Mr. Pace, "I through out my back jumping around cause i was excited for the play, but now I cant do it..." haha;)  But Im just SO thankful for this opportunity I have to perform in my all time favorite musical, SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS! Thank you Mr. Pace!! :)

SWEATHEARTS!!

Today is a girls choice dance, SWEATHEARTS!!:) And can i just say...it was a blast!!!:) I absolutely loved it!! We had to coolest day date of all time...HUMAN CLUE!:) Thats right! It was a party:) I took Tanner Milburn, aka, My Matchie:) and we were Mr. and Mrs. White, the Maid and Butler:) It was pretty cute!
In our group was, LIbbie and Mitch, Kaitlyn and Ryan, Katelyn and Rylan, and Kelsee and Cordon!:) Thanks guys for the super fun day!!

Mio Is Back!!:)

So, during my Sophomore Year, I became friends with a super hilarious, fabulous girl, who was a year long Japanese exchange student at our school! And one time, we decided we would get a bunch of our friends together, and put on MIRANDA lipstick, and just have alot of fun:) So that was SOPHOMORE year, and guess what...SHE CAME BACK AGAIN MY SENIOR YEAR! so we obviously had to do the miranda Lips and all again:) We miss you MIO!:)

SNOWBALL DANCE!

Today was Awesome!! I went with my friend Kevin Sealy! I loved the Date, Dance, IceSkating, and the group! All of today was just amazing!:) We took alot of pictures which was so much fun!! I love Pictures!:) Then we had this awesome day date where me and Kevin Made this really cool boquet Duck! It was....So cute!;) We were pretty pro at Ice Skating Also!;) haha I havent gone in such a long time, so it was quite the adventure! But we didnt even fall!:) wait...just kidding, we fell once:) But it was pretty grand!:) Thank you so so much Kevin for asking me to this Awesome dance!! I had a blast!!:)

Emily? Snowboarding??

Yep! Today I went Snowboarding for my very first time ever!! And I had the time of my life!! It was absolutely amazing!!:) My Best friend Kevin took me! We went to Wolf Mountain! I could never get up on my own though! Im not sure what was wrong! haha but it really was so much fun! When I went awhile without falling ( which was super unusual;) ) it was such a great feeling! Almost like I was flying! It was definately a blast, and I loved it! Good, Good Day!:)

Hana Comes to Visit!

So our exchange student that we had in March, Hana! She is staying in Utah this year! So we got to pick her up and she got to stay over for a few days! And it was super fun!! We went to Temple Square, and City Creek where she could see the Disney Store for her very first time!:) That was awesome! The lights are always so beautiful! She stayed over, and the next day, Me and nathan took her to Frozen! Cutest movie ever by the way:) and she absolutely loved it!! It was so much fun having her over! We had some great times! Love ya "Grandma!"

Christmas!! /Best present ever!!

So we had alot of fun this holiday Season! Very Very busy! But It was all so great and memorable! Today im spending the day with my family! Obviously because its christmas and all:) But! I do have to tell you guys that I got the greatest christmas present I could EVER ask for!! Can you guess what it is?? My biggest wish right now!! Yep!.....IM GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!  I just cant believe it!! My cute sister is going to be a mom! Its just so Adorable!! And i cant believe its actually real! I loved the way they told us...so they wrapped us all a present and told us to open it all at the same time... mine was a bib that said "my aunt loves me".....wait a sec...we finally caught on! And Its happening!! Congrats Amy and Daniel!!:)
