Oh my heavens! This was such a fantastic date!! I loved it so much!
We went to the Festival of Colors in Salt Lake! And it was the best fun ever! We got covered in colorful chalk and took awesome pictures by Amy! The amazing photographer. And it worked out so great! It was raining through our pictures, and all on the way up to Salt Lake, but as soon as we got to the place it stopped completely! it was SO nice!! And we were kinda worried about dinner at the park because we thought it would rain but luckily it didnt!! Yay! It turned out perfect:) I loved my group, and Jay was such a fantastic date! Thanks Jay!

Junior PROM
Today was a pretty good day! I went with Colton Buckley! In my group was Landon Campbell, and Carrigan Johnson!...it was a very small group. haha:)
YOUNG AMERICANS
This was definitely one of the best experiences of my life! For those who don't know what young Americans are, its a performing group, that come and tour all around the world. And the came to Box Elder this year!! I thinik they come about every 4 years or so, but anyway! They are fantastic! If you have ever seen some one bouncing off the wall with energy, you haven't seen anything until you've seen these guys! haha They are awesome!
So it was a 3 day workshop, and on the 3rd day we performed what we learned!
Let me break this down.
So the first day, i got to see who was doing the workshop too, and i found a lot of people were doing it! The age ranges from about 2nd grade to 12th grade!
We learned a Hip Hop dance, and a medley on Beethoven music! Then we got to stand up by ourselves and sing what ever we wanted too in front of everyone! Then we had an awesome dance party!
The 2ND day was awesome!
Instead of going to school we got to spend the whole day with the young Americans! Cant get any better than that right?? :) We did different activities through out the day, like the first station was we got to choreograph a dance with you and 2 other people. I had the coolest group. Scott, Jay, and me. haha! The professinal dancers;) But it was super cool because no one seemed to care how they looked, or if they were doing it right, they just went for it and expressed themselves in their own way. I loved it.
The 2nd station was where we got to draw what we were feeling and express ourselves on paper. Im not an artist at all, but it was still cool to try that out and hear waht is going through other peoples minds.
then the 3rd thing was, we got to write things down about what were thinking, and that was also really cool! This whole day was an awesome learning and expressive experience!
And finally the 3rd day! Aka, PERFORMANCE DAY!
Words cant even describe my feelings right now. im living the dream. Performing on stage in front of a lot of people, singing, dancing, acting, expressing myself. This is what i live for and hope to do this in my future!

When I was up there performing i had the biggest energy rush, and was soaking in every minute that we were performing. It was absolutely amazing! It was awesome to get to watch the YA's perform! They were incredible!! They did so many different types of music! i was in heaven! I was also given the opportunity to perform a solo. I sang a part from the beetles song, "if i fell" and that was awesome! Jenica, Luke, Peter, and Dallin also sang the solos for the beetles medley! and they did AMAZING! They all seriously have voices of angels!
All the Young Americans became my friends, and are all so nice! They are examples to me. i hope to be one someday:)
The ending number was my favorite! The number from lion king! I was pretty much in tears by the end. The room was flooding with music and people singing their hearts out. it was really describable Afterwards i got to thank the YA who helped me with my solo. she was so awesome!!
It was an experience of a lifetime, and i would definitely do it again if i could! I'm so thankful for this experience!!:)
